Taylor grew up surrounded by her mother’s beautiful gardens. That love for flowers started early but grew slowly. In 2020 after moving to their current home, in the midst of Netflix binge watching, Taylor found the Floret documentary. It was from that spark that the flower story really started.

With inherited gardens filled with years of neglect, Taylor started to nurture the landscaping back to life. She also started to grow cut flowers and make small arrangements for family and friends. The joy of sharing flowers grew like wildfire.

In 2023, Taylor started Taylored Acres on YouTube. Her friends and family were constantly asking how she grew garlic, or onions, or flowers. It was easier to make a video to share knowledge than any other way. While the YouTube channel is small, Taylor aims to upload a video every Saturday morning.

In the love of flowers, in 2025, Taylor and her Husband Kyle expanded to a new cut flower garden which is about 25×60-feet. There are 18 beds, each is about 9×4-feet. In addition to some perennials in the landscaping, all the cut flowers come from this space. This is the start of the Taylored Acres Flower Farm.

During the winter of 2025/2026 Taylor and Kyle decided to bring fresh cut flowers to market though a flower stand located on the farm. Kyle’s grandpa had an old truck bed trailer that Kyle refinished into the stand.

Taylor’s love for flowers is the story but there is always more to give back to the community. Taylor also had the “Free Flower Friday” idea in her heart for years and in 2026 was finally able to start it. Fundraisers and more for non-profits are still to come. The goal of the flower stand isn’t to supplement income, rather to find ways to give back to the community through it.
